Warm, safe, and in line with the adopted arrangement. Bathroom rugs are a must-have, not just this season! Placed right next to the bathtub or shower enclosure, they provide pleasant warmth when stepping out of a relaxing bath. If they have an anti-slip layer, they guarantee safety, as there is no risk of slipping on smooth tiles. At Pepco, we have opted for bathroom rugs in various sizes and shapes, with interesting color combinations and patterns, because we know perfectly well that such an accessory, although primarily practical, must match the bathroom's arrangement!

Time to choose bathroom rugs!

How to choose the right bathroom rug? It depends on what we expect. Differences are not only in colors, patterns, or shapes, but also in the materials used. First, however, we must inform you that at Pepco you will find a wide range of bathroom rugs that will delight with their quality, aesthetics, and price!

First, let's pay attention to the material from which the rug is made. It will determine the appearance, durability, and ease of cleaning of the rug.

What to choose? If you want warm feet after getting out of the bathtub or shower, soft and pleasant, cotton bathroom rugs or terry rugs will work well. It's worth remembering that their pile should not be too long, as this means a longer drying time. A rug exposed to constant moisture is more difficult to keep clean and less hygienic. If you want to use a product in this area of the bathroom that resembles a miniature of traditional carpets, you should ensure it is dried very thoroughly. Some of these rugs can be washed in washing machines, which makes them easier to keep clean and ensures full hygiene, without the risk of fungal or mold growth.

This small drawback does not mean that bathroom rugs with longer pile, which are very soft and fluffy, cannot be present in our bathrooms. Pepco advises that when choosing them, find a place for them, for example, next to the sink or toilet bowl, where they are not so heavily exposed to moisture. In turn, right next to the bathtub or shower enclosure, you can place a bamboo mat or one made of microfiber. Their advantage is very good moisture absorption, quick drying, and ease of cleaning.

Textile rugs can be based on natural, synthetic, or artificial materials. They are very pleasant to the touch, but also extremely warm. They will therefore be an ideal solution if the bathroom does not have underfloor heating.

Or maybe a rubber rug? Models with special nubs perfectly massage the feet. Its undeniable advantage is its high adhesion to the floor and high water resistance. Depending on the chosen model, such products can even be used directly in the bathtub or shower enclosure.

What to look for when choosing a bathroom rug?

Since we are talking about safety, we must pay attention to the rubber trim on the bottom. Bathroom rugs with such protection do not slide even on smooth tiles. They do not slip, so when getting out of the bath, you don't have to think about stepping carefully!

The aforementioned ease of cleaning is an issue that is certainly not indifferent to us! Bathroom rugs that are machine washable are a great convenience. However, this does not mean that we cannot clean others. The point is to take care of them regularly, and after each bath, find a place where they can dry well. This will not only prevent the creation of an environment conducive to the growth of microorganisms, but also ensure that the colorful, patterned rug retains its beautiful appearance for longer!

Aesthetics, i.e. shapes and colors

Pepco has a wide range of bathroom rugs in various sizes, shapes, and colors, as well as patterns.

Rectangular, square, round, or perhaps specially cut? It depends! Right next to a square shower enclosure, a rectangular rug will look best. In the case of a rounded one, a rug with a slight arc cutout will complete the arrangement. Round bathroom rugs look interesting in small bathrooms, but they are also a functional solution. By opting for those with a larger diameter, you can combine several zones: the one by the bathtub or shower enclosure, next to the sink, and even by the toilet bowl. The same shape looks good with freestanding bathtubs. Built-in ones, on the other hand, go well with rectangular rugs.

An interesting alternative is to play with sizes. You can place a smaller rug near the bathtub or shower, and a larger one under the sink. And finally, let's consider the shape of the entire room, if we focus mainly on the decorative functions of the rugs. A rectangular bathroom can be fitted with a long rug, and a square one with a round one placed in the middle of the floor.

What about colors? At Pepco, we have a huge range of them! Let's consider not only our own tastes but also the bathroom's arrangement. Let's consider the colors or patterns already used, so that the color or pattern in which the bathroom rugs are available, matches them well.
