Polish families lack mindfulness, empathy, and openness to communication, as clearly shown by the research report "Communication in the Family". To encourage conversations with loved ones, as part of the "Home Starts with a Heart" campaign, a card game "I'll tell you about it" was created, developed by psychologist and psychotherapist Dagmara Teczka.
The game is intended to facilitate the establishment and development of deeper contact. Educators from the Society of Friends of Children confirm that the use of cards as an educational tool in facilities run by TPD supports group work, making young people more open and willing to talk about their emotions.
– Pepco has drawn attention to this very important topic by offering an effective tool that encourages communication and sharing of problems. The game teaches how to express one's emotions and feelings, and also prompts conversations about the needs and dreams of young people. It allows for discussing difficult topics in a safe and supportive way. I think this game can really break down walls and help us get to know each other better. It definitely works well in our community centers; such games are very much needed – comments Jolanta Szklarska, Director of the Main Board Office of the Society of Friends of Children.
