Pepco has been honored with the title "Benefactor of the Year 2024" in the Social Welfare and Charity category. This prestigious award, presented by the Academy of Philanthropy Development in Poland, confirms the company's effective commitment to helping those most in need. Pepco was recognized and nominated this year by the "Give Children Strength" Foundation for its support of the 116 111 helpline for children and youth. Thanks to Pepco's assistance, approximately 8.5 thousand calls from children and youth needing support were received in 2023.

Pepco began its cooperation with the "Give Children Strength" Foundation in 2021, committing to financial support for the 116 111 helpline. This is an anonymous nationwide helpline that operates 24 hours a day. Consultants on the helpline provide free support to children and youth in need. The most frequently discussed topics relate to broadly understood mental health, peer relationships, or family relationships. Following the successes of the first year of cooperation, the company decided to continue its support in subsequent years. In total, Pepco has donated over PLN 1.5 million to the 116 111 helpline to date.
