On December 6th, a new playroom for young patients of the pediatric hospital at the Mother and Child Health Institute in Łódź was opened. Pepco donated PLN 250,000 to the Foundation for the Development of the ICZMP Institute for the renovation and equipping of the room.

The modern educational playroom is equipped with, among other things, computer workstations and a television. It is intended to be a comfortable and safe center for hospital life, serving younger and older children for both learning and play.

The ceremonial opening was attended by Pepco employees, sponsors, the Foundation's Board, and the Management of the ICZMP Institute, as well as dozens of young patients with their guardians. Students from the Łódź Academy of Music took care of the artistic part. Alongside carols and joint games, the children received Christmas gifts.

ICZMP is one of the largest highly specialized medical centers in Poland. The pediatric and gynecological-obstetric clinics admit patients and children from all over Poland and abroad.
