When we face difficulties, the presence and support of another person are invaluable – especially for a child who often doesn't know how to cope with life's problems. The tens of thousands of calls to the 116 111 helpline for children and youth attest to the importance of open, uplifting conversation. Young people can use it anonymously and free of charge around the clock thanks to donors like Pepco.

At the beginning of this year, we allocated PLN 500,000 to the helpline's operations. Thanks to these funds, the "Dajemy Dzieciom Siłę" Foundation was able to by September:

• receive over 13,000 calls and 1,500 messages from children and youth,

• conduct approximately 150 life- or health-saving interventions,

• train 21 consultants in conducting psychological conversations
